Use It In

• Butter Chicken, chicken korma or other dishes where rich, aromatic gravy is required
• Chicken Lollipops or chicken lollipop preparations for grilling and shallow frying
• As a base for Chettinad Chicken, Dahi Lasooni Chicken, and other regional styles
• Everyday Chicken Curry using a balanced chicken curry, both in marinade and gravy
• Homemade chicken tikka curry or grilled variations like tandoori chicken tikka

How To Use It

Marinate the chicken in curd, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, one tablespoon of Orika Chicken Masala (your go-to chicken marinade masala) and salt for at least 40 minutes.

Sauté onions and green chillies in oil or ghee until browned, then add tomatoes and remaining spices and cook for five minutes. Add the marinated chicken along with two tablespoons of Orika Chicken Masala, cook briefly, then add water as required and pressure cook for three to four whistles.

The masala is used at two key stages: in the marinade and in the gravy, ensuring depth whether you're making a simple curry or a more elaborate chicken masala gravy.
